New Beginner Program in Orem, UT.We have new fun introductory session in Orem, Utah for boys and girls of all levels and physical abilities. Our Start-Up two month program teaches basic fencing behavior, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and of course the basic terminology, footwork, offensive and defensive actions, including bouting strategy with actual fencing.
In this session we will teach techniques for all three swords; Foil, Epee and Saber. This session is for true beginners who have had no experience with fencing.
Youth Session
Days & Times: Fridays 4:00 - 5:00 pm or 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Frequency: One day a week
Cost(equipment rental included): $150.00 two month Session or $85 per month.

Each athlete is encouraged to stay in each particular level until they, their family, and their coach agree that the athlete is ready to move to the next level. For example: Some younger athletes this progression may take several months per level and this is normal. Conversely, some older or more experienced athletes may require only one session to move up.
This class is for young children to begin early training in the skills of fencing. Kids will engage in a variety of games and activities designed specifically for the fitness and agility of fencing including footwork, blade work and fun bouting.

- Age: 5 to 7 years old.
- Days and Time: Wednesdays 5:00PM to 6:00PM.

We are Utah Swords Academy Fencing club where you find professional instruction for all aspects of fencing.
The Utah Swords Academy opened in Salt Lake City, in January 2003. It is Utah's first International competitive fencing club, with a mission to make the excitement and joy of fencing more accessible to Utans of all ages.
Our Club was founded in 2003
to help people discover, enjoy, and advance in the sport of fencing. We not only aim to develop fencer's technical skills but we also focus on physical fitness.
It is no wonder that we provide one of the best youth Foil & Saber programs in the state area, which results in marvelous achievements in local, national and international competitions by our current members. Our classes range from beginner groups to individualized lessons for all ages, depending on your personal interest and needs.

Our facility has:

- 8 full-sized electric strips.

- Changing rooms Our new gymnasium is the only one of its kind in the state of Utah.
New building makes the club a comfortable space for athletes, parents, and club staff.
